Leah Smolker brings international experience along with creativity, erudition and depth.
Ms. Smolker earned her J.D. at University of West Los Angeles. While in law school, she served as a student mentor in Constitutional Law 1 and Evidence 2, authored an original research project in Constitutional Law. She won first place in a writing competition offered through her law school.
She studied abroad at Bar-Ilan University Law School in Tel Aviv while in law school.
Ms. Smolker earned a BA degree at University of California, San Diego, in political science with emphasis on international relations. As an undergrad, she studied abroad at the prestigious Fudan University in Shanghai and Thammasat University in Bangkok.
Ms. Smolker taught English in South Korea before attending law school in California. She speaks some Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai and Hebrew. She has been to 40 countries.
When Ms. Smolker is not practicing law, she enjoys traveling, yoga, Pilates, her dogs, hiking and cooking.
